My Thesis Statement

The film Enduring Love, is a great portrayal of altruism and the fight for survival. The portrayal of characters in the films and how they are developed, ultimately challenges the ideas of Dawkins by stating and showing that altruism does happen and does develop in people and it's difficult to control in different people.

*Work in Progress*

  1. This is on the right track. How about something like:

The film _Enduring Love_ portrays the challenges of altruism and the fight for survival. Based on several sources, I will argue that the film shows that although altruism is challenged by evolutionary theory, the ending of the book shows that altruism is still possible.

I hope you look at the last chapters of the novel here -- where Joe Rose meets with the widow and children of John Logan, the man killed on the balloon, and it seems that generosity is possible. I guess you've dropped de Clerambault's Syndrome (stalking), which is probably better. You now need to dig into the first sections of the film / book and the ending (for the book).
